Time Equals
Time stirs
questions regarding job satisfaction, social roles, routines,
public self / private self, mortality, and more.
For most of us, going to work is not the highlight of
our day. We have
jobs to survive. We
make the compromises we must.
We make the best of that which is necessary.
If a person is fortunate enough to find a good fit,
then his job can be a fulfilling part of his life.
The aphorism
“time equals money” may be a useful concept in
maximizing efficiency and profitability in business, but, for
the individual, it is not completely true.
An individual can trade his time for money, but he
can’t buy back that time.
